There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 upstairs. The Lower North and Library rooms (often taken as a 2 room suite in the summer) share a large bathroom with an antique clawfoot tub and shower. If requested, by booking Lower North with Private Bath, our Library Room can be closed to ensure guests reserving the Lower North, with its big fireplace, the exclusive use of the bathroom. The upstairs rooms all have private baths.

The large Lower North with sweeping views over the marshes, has a fireplace and king-sized bed. The elegant proportions of the room with its high ceilings and tall windows, evoke a grander age. Today at Blue Skye we let the north light flood the room and then at night, draw the shades and light the fire.

The king bed can be configured as twins for stays exceeding 2 nights. Please email the innkeeper for this option.

Library Room

A corridor lined with books leads to this bedroom. There is an original spooncut bedstead adapted to accommodate a queen size mattress and the three windows give exquisite views over the marshes to the forests beyond.

A large 4 poster bed, a crackling fire, let the north winds blow. This is the room for a romantic weekend. And in the summer, the apple blossom and lilac under the windows scent the air.

Far reaching views over the marsh and a constantly changing landscape filled with birdlife, complete the simplicity of this charming room and it's all visible from your four poster perch high on top of Blue Skye Farm.

Two double beds and up a ladder to a Victorian sleeping bunk make this private and hidden away upper corner of Blue Skye perfect accommodation for family or friends. Throw a quilt over the beams for additional privacy and read long into the night without disturbing the others. Tall people beware! The beams are low.
